d) Secure the tail with the clip.

c) Cut the tape 20 centimetres from the buckle.

STEP III : How to secure the tape into the new #8 insulators
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
1- Once it has been attached onto the post (it can be wood, pipe, fibre-gless, or Tpost.
|
|
2- Position the tape on it.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
3-Close the cap and screw in the bottom #8 peg.
|
|
4- Then screw in firmly the other #8 peg but do not over tighten.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
To retighten the entire fence line
Turn all the #8 peg to the left to free the tape, then pull the tape out at the tensioner adjust to the correct tension, and fi nish by closing the #8 pegs.
To retighten post after post
Turn one #8 pegs to the left to free the tape, pull out the portion of tape you want to stretch and secure it with the #8 pegs and proceed again at the next post.

Take the tail of the tape out of the buckle.
|
Slacken the fence tape by pushing it with the palm of your hand. It will simply get loose.
