Setting Toggle up connects the middle tape
to the positive terminal of the charger
All the tapes are hot (+)
the horses when touching any strands of the fence will get zapped !

Setting the Toggle down connects directly the middle tape
to the negative (-) terminal of the charger
the horses when touching simultanously a (+) and
a (-) tape will get strongly zapped
The toggle comes with a lightning diverter and it’s own ground rod.
