When the ground is too dry or too frozen and you realize your fence is not working anymore,
if you change the connections following these examples your horse will receive a shock by
touching a negative and a positive tape simulttaneously .
But at no place should the positive tape and the negative tape be interconnected.

Changes in the connections for 2 Strands

- Leave the top tape n°1 connected to the (+) red terminal as for standard fencing connection
- Disconnect the bottom tape n°2 and reconnect it directly to the (-) green terminal (order 1 extra #59L.) In any situation always keep the ground rod connected.

|
|
|
Leave the top tape n°1 connected to positive terminal (+) of the charger Disconnect the middle tape n°2 from top tape n°1 and tape n°3.
Connect the top tape n°1 to bottom tape n°3 Connect Middle tape n°2 to the negative terminal (-) of the charger Order 1 extra #59H and 1 extra #59L.

Changes in the connections for 4 Strands

|
|
|
Connect the top (+) and middle (+) (positive tapes) together using the cable #59H at the buckles #36.
- Connect the top tape (+) to the (+) red terminal of the charger using a cable #59L.
- Connect the second (-) and fourth (-) (negative tapes) together using the cable #59 H at the buckles #36.
- Connect the second tape (-) to the (-) green terminal of the charger using a #59L.
- Order 1 extra #59L and a #59H.
If it has been snowing a lot... and the snow reaches the tape. If the snow reaches the (-) negative tape: no problem the fence will keep working If the snow reaches the (+) positive tape disconnect it.
When Spring arrives and the ground conditions are more favourable you can change back to standard connection.
